What is linksalt.com ?
Linksalt.com is an adserver that provides ads from affiliate networks and datafeeds. It works similar to google adsense ads in the fact that you select your preferred ad-sizes and layout, copy a piece of code
, and paste it on your website. Based on your selections the ads will display affiliate products with your affiliate ID embedded. If there are multiple ads that
match your request, the ads will rotate automatically, showing new products each time your page is loaded.
Is it free to use ?
Absolutely ! linksalt.com is completely free to use. As a matter of fact you do not even need to register. You can begin immediately and post your ads.
How do I start ?
If you are already affiliated with a network or a merchant, just go ahead and find their ads. Simply place them in your website and immediately start earning commissions.
If you are not yet an "affiliate" here's how it works:
1. > You sign up with one of the affiliate networks. You can find some examples below. Signup is always free.
2. > Find some vendors or merchants in the network that you like and affiliate with them (usually as simple as a click)
3. > Find your vendor/merchant on linkshare, copy & paste the code to your website, and start earning commissions.
Why is different about linksalt ?
There are many ways linksalt.com is different. For starters you decide where you want to put your ads and how many you place on a page. Other companies hassle you with weird rules and restrictions,
but we firmly believe in freedom for all ! If you do not want to, you do not need to register in order to use our service. Maybe the more important reason we are different though is that
our ads are purely based on affiliate or commissioned products, so your percentage based payout rate or commission is typically much higher than with little penny-click ads.
What's the catch ?
There is no catch ! When you display affiliate ads on your website as a free member we may from time to time replace your ad with some advertisement. These advertisements may look almost identical to your chosen ad, but may point to another affiliate.
The advertisements may also come in the form of 3rd party notifications. While we strive for a 1 in 10 exchange on advertisements, this may in some situations run up to 1 in 6 impressions. When you select ads from a "green" merchant, you will get 100% ad-free advertisements and other linksalt services.
What is a green merchant ?
Linksalt provides many services that all use the same data provided by affiliated merchants. When you see a merchant that is highlighted in green you are dealing with a merchant that is involved or committed to linksalt in one way or another. When you select services from a green
